1. Brazilian Black Tarantula (Grammostola Pulchra)
The Brazilian Black Tarantula is one of the few terrestrials I actually like. And considering their docile nature, it's the perfect tarantula to gain some more experience with. You can never go wrong with all black.
2. Mexican Red Knee Tarantula (Brachypelma Smithi)
Ah, the poster boy of all tarantulas and the horror movie favorite, the Mexican Red Knee. I feel that if I'm going to be a true hobbyist, my collection wouldn't be complete without one of these. Not to mention they are rather stunning.
3. Ornamental Baboon Tarantula (Heteroscodra Maculata)
I don't have enough experience with tarantulas to deal with an old world yet, but this T is super attractive and I'd like to work my way up to eventually owning one.
4. Indian Ornamental Tarantula (Poecilotheria Regalis)
Same with the Ornamental Baboon, the Indian Ornamental is an old world species - a rather dangerous one at that. They tend to be aggressive, super fast, and have a pretty potent venom. So, I will admire from the safety of the internet for awhile before I take the plunge. However, I think that this goal will stick with me for a long time. Just look how gorgeous they are!
